Toys They Forgot to Make.

New Wave Toys is a small independent toy company based in Whitstable, Kent.

It started with a simple idea: make the action figures I always wanted but nobody ever made.

Some are original characters. Some are affectionate tributes to forgotten toys, films and television. Some are mash-ups that probably shouldn't exist. Others revisit unproduced prototypes and ask what they might have looked like if they had made it onto the toy-shop shelf.

We combine traditional hand sculpting and digital sculpting with resin 3D printing, mould making, resin casting, injection-moulded resin components, rotationally cast flexible rubber parts, hand assembly and hand painting.

Small runs. Handmade pieces. Weird ideas. Made with love in Whitstable.
